WASHINGTON — When Vice President Joe Biden finally decided Tuesday to forgo a third presidential bid, his wife believed the nation was missing out.

“I was disappointed,” Jill Biden told CBS’s “60 Minutes.” I thought Joe would be a great president.”

Biden claimed on Wednesday that the window to launch a successful White House bid had “closed” after he dealt with the heart-wrenching loss of his son Beau to brain cancer in May.
