Joe Biden on Wednesday joined the chorus of Democrats calling on Attorney General William Barr to resign.

The former vice president and 2020 presidential contender told reporters Barr had lost the confidence of the nation.

“I think he’s lost the confidence of the American people,” Biden said as he jumped into a car outside an Iowa restaurant, video shared on Twitter shows.

“I think he should,” resign, Biden added in the clip, posted by CBS News reporter Bo Erickson.

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), who is also running for president in 2020, and Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono have both called on Barr to step down.

Earlier Wednesday, the AG was grilled by Harris, Hirono and other lawmakers in a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.
