Joe Biden said Sunday that he has raised $33 million so far this month.

The uptick in fundraising comes after Biden, 77, whose campaign was nearly broke just over a month ago, positioned himself as the front-runner in the Democratic primary race with a streak of primary and caucus wins in recent weeks.

Biden announced that he’d collected what is by far the biggest sum of his campaign during Sunday night’s one-one-one debate against top rival Bernie Sanders.

The Vermont senator raked in a staggering $46.5 million in February from 2.2 million donations, compared to Biden’s some $18 million for that month.
