Joe Biden’s campaign told field office staffers to work from home and will shut down the offices this weekend because of the coronavirus crisis, according to multiple reports.
“Starting Saturday, March 14, all Biden for President employees both in our Philadelphia headquarters and in field offices across the country will work from home,” an internal memo from top campaign strategist Anita Dunn and new campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon.
The move came as fears of the spreading virus have forced cancellation of major sporting events, Broadway shows and other large gatherings, and after Biden delivered a speech detailing what he believed should be done to combat the deadly virus.
