Sen. John Fetterman met his sartorial match this week on Capitol Hill — intrepid Post reporter Jon Levine, who was hailed by the Pennsylvania Democrat for aping his “style” on the now-famous cover of the Big Apple’s favorite paper.
“I love it. I saw the article and honestly, I laughed out loud when I saw it. That’s the truth,” Fetterman gushed to Levine, who wore the same “throwback” hoodie and shorts he wore on the “Haute Mess” page 1 for the mano a slobbo meeting Thursday on Capitol Hill.
The Post presented the Keystone State’s most famous schlump a copy of the now collector’s item, in which Levine — inspired by a one-time change to the Senate dress code to accommodate the lawmaker’s notoriously frumpy wardrobe — attempted to dine in NYC’s most exclusive restaurants dressed like him.

“I’m giving you an open invitation. We plan to be in New York in a couple of weeks, I’ll go with you and try to test your theory. I’ll do it. It is funny. You have to be able to laugh at yourself.”
The Senate later beat a hasty retreat, and Fetterman insisted he’s more buttoned up — or at least wearing a shirt with buttons — on the floor of the August institution.
