Meet the lone Amber Heard supporter in court today

By Elizabeth Rosner

FAIRFAX, Va. -- When Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's trial wrapped shortly before 5:15 p.m., a sea of the actor's fans were outside the courthouse waiting to catch a glimpse of him.

But the only apparent Heard supporter in the Fairfax, Virginia, courtroom Wednesday was 23-year-old Kylie Putnam, who carried an "I believe her" sign and pink care package for the actress.

"People don't realize this isn't just about Amber Heard," she told The Post during the lunch break. "It's insane [they] don't understand the cultural implications of this trial."

The Minneapolis resident had arrived at the Fairfax County Courthouse at 1 a.m. to wait in line with scores of Depp fans in order to be able to get in and back the actress in court.

She carried dozens of little goodie bags to hand out to other Heard supporters -- but there were none.

"Amber Heard has to look at the person that abused her and on top of that the world hates her," Putnam said.

"I don't keep up with pop culture and I was looking for a way to help Amber and no one was doing anything," she added. "I would never have been here if there weren't Depp fans."

Putnam said she is appalled by the toxic fandom and vile comments directed at Heard on social media.

"I think it's weird to treat this trial as entertainment -- waiting in this line to get in the courtroom is like waiting at Coachella or the Warped Tour," she said.

After being at the trial for two days, Putnam wants to extend her trip since she is the "only person" present who supports Heard.

"I feel like I can't leave," she said, adding that Heard "deserves at least one person who believes and supports her."

Acting coach: Depp made Heard 'sob' before classes

By Olivia Land

Amber Heard's former acting coach testified that Johnny Depp reduced his wife to tears regularly throughout their marriage.

Kristina Sexton, who started working with Heard in 2011, said in a pre-recorded deposition that Heard often started their training sessions crying.

"I had to block out time cushions around [her classes]," Sexton said. "Because she would be sobbing when we started and we couldn't work."

Sexton also testified that she frequently heard muffled arguments between the couple.

What is Amber Heard writing in her notepad?

By Elizabeth Rosner

Amber Heard was spotted holding a yellow notepad in court today while she smiled and hugged her attorney Ellen Bredehoft.

The actress used a black pen to write "The Trend is J claims stress (or whatever)" and "Why redacted" along with multiple numbers that are scattered on the first page of the pad.

The "Aquaman" star has been taking notes with great concentration on her yellow legal pad throughout the trial.

Her ex-husband Johnny Depp has been doodling in a notebook marked "Built to Last" that's decorated with a green figure wearing a crown on its cover.

Heard's makeup artist used Arnica to bring down swelling

Amber Heard's former makeup artist Melanie Inglessis testified she used Arnica cream to bring down the swelling on Heard's face -- in a throwback to the beginning of the trial.

Arnica cream was a big topic of discussion earlier in the trial, when Heard's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft discussed the cream that she said Heard used to hide all her injuries.

Bredehoft asked witness Isaac Baruch if he knew if Heard was wearing the cream when he claimed he never saw her injured. Baruch, a best friend of Depp, laughed and said he did not know.

The claim was mocked by Depp fans, but Inglessis said it was one of the many things she did to hide Heard's injuries.

Sexton, who is based in Australia, appeared via a pre-taped deposition recorded on Dec. 18, 2019. She started working with Heard in 2011 and coached her through her breakout role in "Aquaman" in 2017.

Sexton is expected to be the final witness of the day.

Heard went through 'rollercoaster of emotions' before divorce, witness says

By Olivia Land

A witness for Amber Heard described the actress's "erratic" emotional state before her divorce from Johnny Depp.

Makeup artist Melanie Inglessis said the actress was "sad," "angry," and going from "wanting to divorce to not wanting to divorce."

"We were all there to kind of help, and go through it," Inglessis said.

Makeup artist says she helped Heard cover up injuries

Amber Heard's makeup artist recounted covering the actress's facial injuries before the actress appeared on the James Corden show on Dec. 16, 2015.

"I just did makeup, just a little heavier ... we covered the discoloration, the bruises, with a little slightly heavier concealer," Melanie Inglessis said. "One that has a little more of a peach undertone, which I would normally don't use on Amber, but peach do cancel blue, so I did that under the eyes."

Inglessis also corroborated Heard's account of injuries she had on Dec. 16, 2015, including that she was missing a chunk of her hair and had a busted lip.

'"I remember this 'cause she showed it to us," she said.

"She had discoloration around her eyes, on her nose," Inglessis said. "And she had a slit lip."

Heard has previously alleged that Depp beat her on Dec. 15, 2015, one day before her appearance on the late-night show. She claims to have covered the evidence of the fight with makeup.

Witness: I 'darted' away after 'wasted' Depp charged me

By Olivia Land

The latest witness for Amber Heard testified that she ran and hid from Johnny Depp after he charged her.

Elizabeth Marz, a friend of Heard's former pal Raquel Pennington, said she was at the couple's suite of penthouses on May 21, 2016, when the actor burst into the room "wasted," spewing profanities and wielding a large bottle of wine.

When asked why she hid, Marz asserted, "I just didn't know what he would do."

Witness: I was scared of 'sloppy and combative' Depp

By Olivia Land

Elizabeth Marz testified via pre-recorded deposition that when she saw Johnny Depp on May 21, 2016, she was "scared of him."

Marz, a friend of Amber Heard's former bestie Raquel Pennington and a self-described "self-love empowerment coach and inspirational speaker," gave her deposition on Nov. 26, 2019, and described Depp as "sloppy" and "combative" that night.

"Personally, I was scared of him, that's all I can, the one interaction I had with him that night, it was frightening to me," Marz said.

She said she witnessed Depp screaming "Get your bitch out of here" and "from where I was standing, it felt like he was charging towards me."

Heard's sister cross-examined by Depp attorneys

By Olivia Land

Amber Heard's younger sister is being cross-examined by Johnny Depp's attorney Rebeccca Lecaroz.

Whitney Henriquez, 34, previously testified to her sister's lawyers about the couple's tumultuous relationship and the fights that often turned physical.

Heard's sister: 'Her reputation is all she has'

Amber Heard's sister, Whitney Henriquez, told the court that Heard was "devastated" when Johnny Depp's lawyer Adam Waldman claimed in 2020 that Heard was lying about domestic abuse allegations.

"Amber has worked so hard to overcome everything that she went through in the duration of their relationship, she really, really tried her best to move past it," Henriquez said. "Her reputation is all she has, she doesn't have piles of money and private islands."

When Waldman claimed Heard was lying, "it devastated her, and also we had just buried our mother," Henriquez said, adding that her sister had panic attacks, stopped sleeping, and was "so physically unwell."

Heard countersued Depp for $100 million over Waldman's statement.
