Law-enforcement agencies around the country prevented randy football fans from scoring with prostitutes on Super Bowl Sunday as hundreds of men were, arrested in a large-scale sting operation.

The arrests of 570 potential johns and 23 pimps took place during the annual “National Day of Johns Arrests” — a two-week long operation spearheaded by the Cook County Sheriff’s Department in Illinois.

“It’s particularly meaningful that this sting culminated on the day of the Super Bowl . . . a prominent haven for sex trafficking,” Sheriff Tom Dart said Monday.

This year’s effort included 70 jurisdictions in 17 states.
