Kaci Hickox’s bike rides are over – for now.

A Fort Kent judge issued a temporary order directing the combative nurse to adhere to U.S. Center for Disease Control guidelines for people with “some risk” of Ebola, the Portland Press Herald reported.

A hearing on the state’s petition must be held in the next three to 10 days.

Her lawyers have agreed that she will follow the instructions in the temporary order, the Press Herald reported.

Hickox, who vowed to defy Maine’s quarantine for health-care workers who’ve treated Ebola patients, was ordered to stay at least three feet away from others.

According to the order, she also must avoid public places, not leave Fort Kent, agree to active monitoring and coordinate any travels with health officials.

Hickox took a defiant bike ride with her boyfriend on Thursday, while being followed by state troopers who monitored her escapade without the authority to detain her.

Hickox, who returned from Sierra Leone and was kept under quarantine in New Jersey for a few days, has tested negative for Ebola and has no symptoms. She argues that her rights are being violated.
