Sweden’s Princess Madeleine will marry her American-British fiancé in Stockholm in June, the palace announced yesterday.

“The marriage between Princess Madeleine and Christopher O’Neill will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013, in the Royal Palace chapel in Stockholm,” it said.

Madeleine, 30, is the youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia and fourth in line to the throne. The London-born O’Neill, 38, works in finance.

The couple met and live in New York and have no plans to return to Sweden at present.
