Former Vice President Kamala Harris announced a rebrand of her long-dormant campaign account Thursday after teasing a mystery announcement the day before.

Her “KamalaHQ” account on X, which went silent after her loss to Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, was renamed “headquarters_67” as Harris discussed the update in a video message.

“It’s where you can go online to get basically the latest of what’s going on and also to meet and revisit with some of our great, courageous leaders,” she said in the clip. “I’m really excited about it, so stay engaged, and I’ll see you out there.”

The former vice president is attempting to mobilize young voters ahead of the midterm election and showcase herself as a power player in the Democratic Party, as many donors remain angry about her failed presidential campaign.

It also gives her a field to play in the online space, an area where Trump and his MAGA faithful have dominated.

Harris’ move mimics California Gov. Gavin Newsom, whose staff frequently uses his GovPressOffice account to taunt the president.

Harris, dressed in a purple suit — the same color she wore at her 2021 inauguration and the 2024 Democratic National Convention — said the account will now be a place to check in with “elected leaders, community leaders, civic leaders, faith leaders, young leaders.”

The day before, Harris cryptically previewed a Thursday announcement via her X and Instagram accounts.

In the Wednesday post, a screen recording shows her campaign logging into its social media accounts, entering various incorrect passwords for “KamalaHQ,” including “waytooonline,” “thebabysitterisweird,” and “project2025wasreal,” before successfully logging in with “headquarters.”

The video was posted on both X and Instagram and ended with a black screen displaying the word “Tomorrow.” Both the accounts have followings of over 1 million.

After losing the election to Trump in November 2024, Harris’ campaign accounts went largely silent, with their last post dated Nov. 5, 2024. The post featured Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, with the caption: “From all of us at Kamala HQ: Thank you for following along 💙.”

As of Thursday morning, the Instagram handle remained unchanged while the X account has been rebranded.

Since conceding the election, Harris has mostly focused on promoting her book, “107 Days,” a memoir about her short-lived presidential campaign. She has been on tour and has made several public appearances and political statements, including remarks on ICE activity.

Harris has played coy as to whether she’ll make another bid for the White House while Newsom is openly considering it. The duo, who came up together in California politics, would make a fierce competition in a Democratic primary, requiring many politicians who supported both in their rise to finally pick sides.

But while Newsom has the platform of the governor’s mansion to make his mark on national politics, Harris has had to use a softer approach, touring the country to push her memoir.

She has teased that she’s “not done” with public service. But if she does make another run, she would have to overcome her previous bid, where she raised $1 billion and didn’t win a single swing state. She would also have to overcome her ties to Joe Biden, who left office under a cloud of scrutiny about his health.

In June 2025, Harris ruled out a run for governor of her home state of California, where she now resides in an $8.15 million home in Malibu with her husband, Doug Emhoff. The 4,000-square-foot Point Dume property is located in a neighborhood known as a who’s who of Hollywood — and more recently, Silicon Valley power players — as first reported by The Post.
