A Kentucky couple was arrested when found walking a baby in a maggot-infested stroller that was also carrying drugs.

Tiffany McCord, 34, and Thomas Parker, 30, appeared intoxicated while walking with the tot heading to an abandoned building in Madisonville on May 24, WFIE reported, citing a police report.

Parker, the kid’s dad, went inside the abandoned building — then fled when cops tried to talk to them, police said.

Cops stopped McCord, and found unspecified drugs along with related paraphernalia as well as prescribed medications for the baby, WFIE said.

Because of the child’s condition, which was not detailed, an ambulance was called — and when medics picked up the baby, they realized it had been sitting on a pile of live maggots in the stroller, the police report said.

McCord claimed that only the baby’s diaper bag – which contained an ashtray, a lighter and a small plastic bag – was actually hers, the report said.

Parker was arrested the following day.

He confirmed he was baby’s father and cared for it with McCord.

It was not immediately clear if she was the mom

Parker said that he had been asked to clean the stroller, but only wiped down part of it.

He denied owning any of the drugs found in the stroller.

Parker was booked into Hopkins County Jail on a charge of wanton endangerment, online records show.

McCord was hit with multiple charges, including drug trafficking, wanton endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
