Kerry Kennedy remembered her late niece Saoirse Kennedy Hill in a touching online tribute following the 22-year-old’s death of a suspected overdose.

On Instagram, Kerry posted four photos of Saoirse during happier times, and shared the family’s statement about her passing.

“Our hearts are shattered by the loss of our beloved Saoirse,” Kerry wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of the smiling Boston College student. “Her life was filled with hope, promise and love.”

Kerry is the sister of Saoirse’s mother, Courtney Kennedy Hill, and one of Ethel and Robert F. Kennedy’s 11 children. She is also the ex-wife of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Saoirse reportedly died of a drug overdose at the Kennedy family’s Cape Cod compound on Thursday, the latest tragedy in the so-called “Kennedy curse.”

She was the only daughter of Courtney, 62, and Paul Hill, 65, and was outspoken about her battle with depression.
