Killer FedEx driver Tanner Horner was seen cleaning the van he used to abduct and murder 7-year-old Athena Strand in disturbing security video taken from the vehicle.
Horner, 34, is seen using a spray and a large roll of paper towels to wipe down the hack of his vehicle, footage played in a Fort Worth courtroom on Thursday during his murder trial shows.

Horner, 34, is seen using a spray and a large roll of paper towels to wipe down the hack of his vehicle. FOX 4 DFWThe child murderer was filmed continuing to scrub the truck for several minutes before returning to the driver’s seat and driving off during the video, which was taken on Nov. 30, 2022, the same day he kidnapped and strangled his victim.

During his trial, Horner last week admitted to murdering Strand, claiming he acted in a panic after accidentally hitting her with his van.

Prosecutors described that as an “absolute lie,” and said Horner kidnapped the girl unharmed from near her house in Paradise, Texas, before stripping and killing her and dumping her body in a creek 10 miles away.
Jurors are tasked with deciding if Horner will be sentenced to death or life in prison.
