Russian President Vladimir Putin is meeting on Wednesday with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, according to reports.

Tillerson is in Moscow for meetings with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to discuss Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s chemical weapons attack on citizens on April 4.

The US wants Russia to withdraw its support from the Syrian strongman it has been propping up since 2015.
