ATLANTA — If you’re 65 in Hawaii, expect to live another 21 years. Hawaii tops the first Centers for Disease Control state-by-state look at health expectations at that age.

New Yorkers who are 65 can look forward to another 20 years, on average, with 14 1/2 in relatively good health.

Nationally, women can expect 15 more years of healthy life to men’s 13. But blacks can expect only 11, compared with more than 14 for whites, the study found.
