All Buffalo Bills players and staff were reported safe inside their Rhode Island hotel, located less than two miles from Brown University, where at least two people were killed in a deadly shooting Saturday afternoon.
The Bills, who are scheduled to play the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium at 1 p.m. Sunday, were at a downtown Providence hotel when the shooting broke out just after 4 p.m., the Athletic reported.

The Patriots released a statement in solidarity with the Ivy League school.
