Amber Heard got emotional as she told the jury about a time in May 2013 when Johnny Depp allegedly performed on non-consensual "cavity search" on her, apparently while looking for his drugs.

Heard said the moment began when an allegedly high Depp "asked me where it is" and "how long I've been hiding it," apparently referring to his cocaine, she said.

At first the actress didn't know what Depp was referring to, though he screamed at her: "You know what I'm f--king talking about," she said.

Before the alleged “cavity-search,” Heard testified that Depp ripped her dress and underwear off.

Court adjourned for the day after Amber Heard finished recounting her troubled trip to the Bahamas with Johnny Depp and his two kids in 2013.

Her direct questioning is only just beginning, and she'll be back on the stand Thursday morning when court reconvenes.

Depp threatened to kill Heard, she testifies

Johnny Depp threatened to kill Amber Heard while the two were in the Bahamas, the actress claimed in bombshell testimony.

"He slams me up by my neck and holds me there for a second and tells me that he could f---ing kill me and that I was an embarrassment," she said.

The threat came while they were in the Bahamas with his children, then in their early teens, on his yacht for one last trip before he had to sell the boat to J.K. Rowling.

His daughter, Lily-Ross Depp, grew upset with her dad's boozy behavior, Heard said, and Depp accused her of telling his kids about his addiction problems before he allegedly attacked her.

Heard left the yacht via helicopter with his daughter, who was crying to her, according to the testimony.

During her recounting of this incident, Heard got the biggest reaction from Depp all day.

It came when Heard's attorney showed her text messages Depp sent her after she left the boat and the actress said, "That's what he was sending me while I was taking care of his daughter."

Depp shook his head and said "wow."

Heard: I cleaned Depp after he 'lost control of his bowels'

Johnny Depp would pass out and lose control of his body -- and everyone in his circle was forced to clean up after him and afraid to confront him about it, Amber Heard said on the stand.

"I cleaned up after him," she testified. "This man lost control of his bowels and I cleaned up after him."

Heard also said she saw Depp's security guards change his pants in front of her, which prompted the actor chuckle from his seat in the courtroom.

"He passed out in his own sick... and then he'd walk around saying he didn't have a problem," Heard testified.

Depp "was the love of my life but he was also this other thing," she said, describing when he was drunk and high. "And that other thing was awful. Awful thing that would come out and take over and you couldn't see the Johnny I loved underneath it."

"No one told him. No one was honest with him," she said of the movie star.

By Elizabeth Rosner

Amber Heard recounted a harrowing story when Johnny Depp allegedly dangled his dog out the window of a moving car while howling "like an animal."

Heard told the jury that "no one" in the car did anything when Depp grabbed his pup Boo, a teacup Yorkie.

"I pulled his arms gently back into the vehicle and got the dog back on the seat," Heard said, adding it was an "eerie moment," in which she didn't know what to do and everyone around them was stressed about Depp's behavior.

Her team introduced a photo to evidence that Heard took of a bruise on her arm, which she said she texted her mom, Paige Parsons, on March 23, 2013. Heard's mom died in 2020.

"I felt safe talking to my mom because I knew she understood these dynamics and she wouldn't judge me for staying with him, for loving him even though this was happening."

Heard describes a jealous and manipulative Depp

By Elizabeth Rosner

Amber Heard testified that ex-husband Johnny Depp was deeply jealous and made their relationship "a never-ending fight."

"It was a revolving door of accusations," she told the jury. "I was an acquaintance with someone. And he was accusing me of having an affair with them."

She described her time with Depp as "almost like it was a never-ending fight."

"What kept me in it was waiting for the other shoe to drop, the sobriety shoe," Heard explained, adding she held onto hope he would eventually be "ready to get clean and sober again."

Once, while he was drunk and on cocaine, he tried to burn a painting a former partner of Heard's made with a lighter, the actress said.

She added of his drug use: “Johnny on speed is very different from Johnny on opiates. And Johnny on opiates [is] very different from Johnny on Adderall, and Cocaine Johnny, which is very different from Quaaludes Johnny.”

He made it sound "dirty" to be an actress, Heard said.

“No wonder you get cast in those roles, that’s what you are,” Depp would allegedly tell her.

"I'd leave the house and he'd say, 'You're going to wear that, kid?'" Heard recalled of Depp commenting on her outfits.

He'd say, "No wonder you're getting cast in those roles."

Then "there'd be a blow-up. He'd smash things," Heard told the jury.

"He loves to break furniture" and would often "smash up a place," she added.

Heard testifies that Depp sobbed after hitting her

By Elizabeth Rosner

Johnny Depp got down on his knees and sobbed after hitting Amber Heard for the first time, the actress testified.

"I will never do that again, I'm so sorry, baby ... I thought I put the monster away," Depp said while grabbing Heard's hands after he allegedly slapped her, according to her testimony.

Heard said she knew she had to leave, but didn't want to.

“I wish I could say I stood up and walked out of the house but I didn't," she said. "I was heartbroken."

A few days later, Depp told her "he would rather cut (his) hand off" than lay it on her, Heard testified, adding that he was calling and texting her to apologize.

By Elizabeth Rosner

Amber Heard recounted the first time Johnny Depp allegedly hit her, telling the jury, "I'll never forget it, it changed my life."

The two were sitting on the couch, in March 2013, drinking, and there was a "jar of cocaine" nearby, when Heard asked Depp what a tattoo on his arm said, she recalled.

Depp then said, "You think it's so funny? You think it's funny, bitch? You think you're a funny bitch," the actress testified.

"He slapped me for no reason, it seemed like," Heard added.

"And he said, 'yum.' And kind of lifted his eyebrows up like that.”

Both had feelings for one another even though they were in relationships at the time, Heard testified.

After filming wrapped, Heard says Depp sent her several gifts. The two reunited on the press tour for the movie in 2011.
