A Bloods gang barbecue in a popular Long Island park sparked the deadly Wednesday shooting that left a 15-year-old boy dead and two others wounded, law enforcement sources told The Post.
Gunfire erupted at Eisenhower Park’s Field 2 around 8:30 p.m. as gangbangers gathered for a cookout that descended into deadly violence when two of the reputed thugs got into a scuffle – and pulled out their guns, law enforcement sources told The Post.
The two other victims, ages 28 and 31, were listed in critical condition, Nassau County Police said in a press release.
Two people were taken into custody.

Police have not released the names of the victims, but Nassau County prosecutors on Thursday charged a 17-year-old from Westbury with criminal gun possession in connection with the fatal shooting.
Prosecutors alleged that he tossed the gun used in the shooting, but no one has yet been charged with pulling the trigger.
The teen’s lawyer said his client has not been tied to the actual shooting, while his mom maintained, “My son didn’t do anything.”
The teen works with his mom and grandma as a pet groomer.
According to the sources, the barbecue included Bloods gang members from the Bronx and Suffolk County, but further details were not immediately available.
“I’m shocked that something like this happened,” park goer Ralph Nemeroff told The Post Thursday. “This happened right behind the public safety building. How does public safety not break this up beforehand?”
The park was supposed to be closed at dusk.
