The accused Long Island puppy love killer charged with gunning down his ex in a botched murder-suicide will be tried for murder as an adult, a Suffolk County judge said Wednesday.

In the first images since the cowardly Nov. 26 slaying of Emily Finn, alleged gunman Austin Lynch, 18, wore a bandage across his nose from a self-inflicted shotgun blast, sporting a green-and-white striped shirt and a peach-fuzz beard and mustache.

Judge Anthony Senft ruled that Lynch, who was 17 at the time of the shooting, will be tried as an adult rather than in juvenile court — and ordered the teen to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

Packing the courtroom were friends and relatives of the victim, many wearing pink clothing, ribbons and buttons — Finn’s favorite color — to honor her memory.

“I have a tattoo,” the slain teen’s uncle, Kevin Finn, told The Post outside the courtroom. “We all got tattoos. It has Emily’s name and ballet slippers.

“It’s miserable,” he said of the murder. “It’s day-by-day, you know? There is no good feeling right now.”

Lynch is charged with shooting Finn, a promising SUNY Oneonta student, in a jealous rage after the Long Island coed dumped him weeks earlier, prosecutors said.

The two dated at Sayville High School but drifted apart when Finn left for college in the fall — prompting Lynch to fly off the handle in a jealous rage that erupted during at least two visits to the upstate campus, prosecutors said.

Just weeks before her death, Finn ended the relationship for good during a tearful telephone conversation, they said.

The stunning teen, a talented ballet dancer who was studying to be a school teacher, was at Lynch’s home for closure on their three-year relationship when he allegedly shot her in the head before turning the shotgun on himself, according to authorities.

According to prosecutors, Lynch’s parents were outside the home when they heard the shots, and dashed inside to find Finn dead on the floor and their son wounded.

“The defendant was lying on the ground bleeding from his face,” Suffolk County prosecutors said during a Dec. 4 court appearance.

“A portion of his nose appeared to be missing,” they said. “A shotgun was found on the kitchen island.”

However, he survived the self-inflicted blast and now faces a murder rap.

Cops later found Lynch’s iPhone in his room, where they discovered a series of chilling ramblings about the shattered romance.

“I have set my mind on leaving this place before my 18th birthday,” he allegedly wrote. “I f—ing hate her.”
