The fifth victim has died after being shot and wounded by a former co-worker at a Louisville bank.

Deana Eckert, 57, died in the hospital more than 12 hours after the 25-year-old gunman, Connor Sturgeon, shot up Old National Bank, according to Louisville police.

Eckert was an executive administrative officer at the bank, where she had worked for the past six years, according to LinkedIn.

The four other victims gunned down were identified by police as Tommy Elliott, 63, Jim Tutt, 64, Joshua Barrick, 40, and Juliana Farmer, 45.

All four were also employed by the bank, which was not open to the public when Sturgeon stormed in and opened fire in a conference room around 8:30 a.m.

Elliott was senior vice president and a personal friend of Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear. Tutt was a market executive, Barrick was another senior vice president and Farmer was a commercial loan specialist.

“Tommy Elliot helped me build my law career, helped me become governor, gave me advice on how to be a good dad,” Beshear said. “These are irreplaceable, amazing individuals that a terrible act of violence tore from all of us.”

In addition to the five dead, eight others — including two police officers — were injured in the shooting. One of the cops, 26-year-old rookie Nicholas Wilt, was shot in the head as he ran toward the scene. He remained in critical condition Monday afternoon.

Sturgeon died at the scene after exchanging gunfire with police.
