Happy Thanksgiving, Charlie Brown!
Macy’s test-drove this year’s slate of balloons Saturday in East Rutherford, New Jersey, ahead of the company’s 93rd annual Thanksgiving Day Parade.
New balloons added to this year’s festivities include Astronaut Snoopy, Spongebob Squarepants with his pet snail Gary, and Sam from “Green Eggs and Ham.”
This is the parade’s eighth incarnation of Charles Schulz’s cartoon dog, who for the second time is dressed in a whimsical space suit.
This year, Snoopy is lifting off to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

Love Flies Up in the Sky
