A Florida man fessed up to beating his friend to death with a baseball bat and then shoving his body under his bed in a duffel bag, authorities said.

Jesse Lee Mitchell, 31, tearfully confessed to 911 dispatchers Monday night that he murdered his buddy, Raymond Anthony Walker, at a Hollywood home, the Sun Sentinel reported.

“I hurt my friend and he is dead,” Mitchell reportedly said in the call. “I hit him with a baseball bat.”

Mitchell claimed he blacked out at the apartment he shared with his girlfriend when he killed his 46-year-old friend.

The cause of death has not been determined for Walker who was found with a bloody shopping bag on his head, according to police.

Prior to the 911 call, Mitchell asked his mom to come pick him up and then admitted in person that he may have killed his pal, according to the newspaper.

He reportedly apologized and hugged her before they agreed to call police.

Mitchell was booked Monday on a charge for premeditated murder at Broward Main Jail.
