A Pennsylvania man was arrested early Wednesday at the Trump International Hotel in downtown Washington, DC, after authorities discovered an AR-15-style assault rifle, a handgun and dozens of rounds of ammunition inside his car.

Bryan Moles, 43, of Edinboro was nabbed in his room at the luxury hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue NW — just five blocks from the White House — after authorities received a tip around 1:50 a.m. that a weapon was spotted inside his vehicle as it was turned over to a hotel valet, authorities said.

Police said a Glock 23 was found in the glovebox of his car along with 30 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition and 60 rounds of .23-caliber ammunition.

Moles was charged with possession of firearms without a license and illegal possession of ammunition.

Federal authorities, including the Secret Service, are involved in the investigation, according to CBS News.
