A Kentucky man was arrested by a SWAT team at a Topgolf over the weekend on suspicion of killing his girlfriend – just a few months after the couple shared loved-up selfies on social media.
David Alan Profitt II, 25, of Bowling Green, was apprehended “without incident” at Topgolf in Fishers, Indiana on Saturday, the Fishers Police Chief Ed Gebhart said.
Profitt was charged with murder and unlawful theft by taking related to the death of his girlfriend, 22-year-old Alexandra Hemmann.
Hemmann was found deceased from an “apparent homicide” on Saturday when local officers performed a welfare check at the apartment the couple shared on Winners Circle in Bowling Green, Officer Ronnie Ward of the Bowling Green Police Department told The Post.
Some of Hemmann’s friends contacted authorities when they had not heard from her, Ward explained.
The theft by taking charge is related to Hemmann’s car, he added.
Her cause of death is currently listed as inconclusive.

It is unclear how authorities knew he was at Topgolf.
Less than three months before the killing, on May 29, both Hemmann and Profitt updated their Facebook profile photos to smiling selfies of the couple together.
Hemmann’s body was found at an apartment in Bowling Green on Saturday. WBKO“Living life to its fullest,” Profitt’s social media description reads.
“I’m happy all the time lol.”
Hemmann was originally from Connecticut and worked at Lowes, her Facebook says.
Some of those who knew her indicated that she was a victim of domestic violence.
Detective David Grimsley confirmed Profitt’s arrest in a brief video statement. WBKO“Alexandra Hemmann was a hoot!” coworker Monica Martin posted on Facebook.
“Please reach out if you or someone you know is going through domestic violence! Do not be silent!”
Another Lowes employee, Ronda Fields, shared multiple heartbroken tributes about “all 4’11”” of Hemmann.
It is unclear who requested the wellness check on Hemmann. WBKO“If you need help, it’s available, I will help you get help, some way somehow we will find a way,” she wrote in one post Sunday, alongside information on domestic violence resources.
Profitt is set to be transferred to Warren County Regional Jail in the coming days, police said.
He may face more charges once the case is presented to a grand jury, officials added.
