A Connecticut hothead caused quite a dust-up when he discovered sawdust on his prized Porsche, police said.
When Francisco Hidalgo, 35, of Norwalk, went to move his ride on Tuesday, he discovered it was covered in sawdust, authorities said.
But instead of simply cleaning off the 2006 sports car, Hidalgo began squabbling with an unidentified man who had been working outside, and then pushed him, and choked him with an extension cord, police told the Norwalk Hour.
A police spokesperson told the newspaper that cops responding to a report of two men fighting found Hidalgo and the worker nursing minor injuries.
The worker was taken to a hospital for evaluation, police Sgt. Sofia Gulino told the newspaper.
Hidalgo, who could not be reached for comment Thursday, was later arrested on charges of second-degree strangulation and third-degree assault. His bond was set at $5,000 and he’s expected back in court on June 5.
The victim was not charged in the incident, police said.
