A man who once operated a company that managed cadavers for research was arrested Tuesday for allegedly dumping donated human remains in an Arizona forest, a report said.

Walter Mitchell, 59, is accused of traveling from Seattle — where his now-shuttered business was located — to a forest outside Prescott to discard five bodies, authorities told The Arizona Republic.

Deputies with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office found 19 human limbs in the remote area on Saturday, the report said. The next day, five more limbs and five skulls were found.

Authorities linked the remains to Mitchell’s old company Future GenX.

“This situation is unimaginable,” Yavapai County Sheriff Scott Mascher said in a statement to the newspaper.

“I am so sorry for the families whose loved ones were donated to research and treated in such a horrific fashion.”

Mitchell was charged with 28 counts of improperly moving human remains.
