BEDFORD, Pa. — Police have charged a 19-year-old Pennsylvania man with the murder of an unborn child in connection with the overdose death of a pregnant woman.

WJAC-TV reports the Bedford man told police after his arrest Thursday that he gave Janea Burns heroin. Burns died of an overdose in October 2017.

The man is facing additional charges, including drug delivery resulting in death. He has been denied bail.

Police say they are looking at filing additional charges for other suspects.
