A man in body armor was shot dead by cops in Hollywood after backing a car covered in bizarre slogans into a squad vehicle — then counting down as if about to start firing, according to police.

The black car — covered in signs about Jesus, Satan and the Illuminati — cut off the squad car on Sunset Boulevard just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

It “pulled in front of them, stopped suddenly and reversed into the police car,” the LAPD said on Twitter, with the driver jumping out at the same time as the two officers in the car he hit.

The driver “was wearing body armor and was holding his right hand behind his back,” LAPD Detective Meghan Aguilar told reporters.

“The officers gave him commands which he did not follow, and he started counting down, saying 3… 2… 1…,” Aguilar said.

The officers opened fire as the man “started to pull his hand from his back to the front,” Aguilera said.

The man — who had not been identified Sunday — was struck by gunfire and pronounced deceased at [the] scene,” the force confirmed.

Photos from the scene showed the car covered in a series of bizarre slogans in white letters, with every “t” upside down.

“I’m Truman I’m Satan lost angel of Holywood [sic],” one section read, while another said that “Jesus Christ is my son he is black,” the images show.

“Mary is my wife we created this world not God,” another part read, later saying that “Mary is Illuminati.” Yet another part mentioned a “new world order where women rule.”

A gun was not found at the scene, sources told NBC Los Angeles, which said the man was believed to be in his 30s.

Police said bodycams were activated at the time and were being reviewed as part of the investigation into the officer-involved fatal shooting.
