WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — A man found dead on the property of a university in Virginia has been identified.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports the body of 54-year-old Lonnie E. Dove of Williamsburg was discovered Friday night on the grounds of the Dillard Complex, around 2 miles from the main campus at College of William & Mary. A passer-by found the body near Ironbound Road.

Campus police are awaiting a final determination from the medical examiner’s office but said no apparent indications of foul play have been found.

A university spokesperson said Dove’s family has been notified of the death.
