A 51-year-old man has been busted for harboring 12 girls, some of whom he abused, at his Pennsylvania home, authorities said.

Lee Kaplan of Feasterville, which is about 20 miles outside Philadelphia, was arrested Thursday and faces a number of charges including statutory sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault related to the girls — who range in age from 6 months to 18 years.

A Pennsylvania couple allegedly gave away one of the girls, their 14-year-old daughter, to Kaplan for money. The couple is accused of child endangerment.

That girl’s father, Daniel Stoltzfus, said he did online research and was under the impression that it was legal to give his daughter to Kaplan after the man helped his family financially, court papers state.

Stoltzfus is charged with conspiracy of statutory sexual assault and children endangerment. His wife, Savilla Stoltzfus, has also been charged with endangering the welfare of a child. The couple told police the other nine girls in the house were their children.

Kaplan and the couple all are being held on $1 million bail.

The girl, now 18, told police she and Kaplan have a 3-year-old child and a 6-month-old.
