A man suited up in body armor and carrying a cache of loaded guns in his car was stopped by federal law enforcement while trying to drive into a courthouse parking garage in downtown Los Angeles, a report said Wednesday.

The unidentified man tried to drive into the Edward R Roybal Federal Building with the cache of weapons at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to CBS Los Angeles.

Officers from the Federal Protection Service — a division of the Department of Homeland Security — stopped the man after seeing a firearm inside his vehicle, officials told the affiliate.

When officers searched him, they discovered he was wearing body armor — and a search of his truck reportedly turned up multiple loaded firearms and knives.

The FBI and LAPD were also investigating, according to the article. It’s unclear if the man was taken into custody or what charges may be pending.
