A 26-year-old man fell to his death from a Dallas hotel’s atrium and landed in the lobby, according to officials.
The victim — who hasn’t been identified — plummetted 18 stories around 1 a.m. Thursday at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas, news station WBAP reported.
Authorities cordoned off the area and covered the ground with a tarp while they investigated, according to the Dallas News.
Hotel staff reportedly requested guests not take photos of the scene.
It’s unclear whether the fall was accidental.
The medical examiner’s office hasn’t determined a cause of death, the Dallas News reported.
