A Texas man raped a dancer inside a strip club after asking her for a private show, police said.

Zachary Lee Johnson, 28, was arrested Wednesday after the victim at Cloud 9 in Abilene told investigators that he repeatedly forced her to have sex against her will after pushing her against a wall in a private room, according to a police report obtained by the Abilene Reporter-News.

The victim managed to fight her attacker off and flee the room, police said.

Johnson, who left his phone number with another employee, was later arrested at a nearby business when police called his cellphone, KTAB reports.

Johnson, of Richardson, has been charged with second-degree felony sexual assault. He was released from custody later Wednesday after posting $30,000 bond, jail records show. Attempts to reach him Friday were unsuccessful.

A message seeking comment from Abilene police was not immediately returned.

Johnson does not appear to have a criminal record in the Dallas area, the Dallas Morning News reports.
