Police are hunting for an attacker who was caught on surveillance video stabbing a man inside a Los Angeles business in a violent daylight attack.
The violent stabbing occurred in broad daylight close to the city’s Skid Row area on Aug. 14.
The man casually approached the store before the stabbing. LAPDSurveillance footage released by police shows the suspect walking off the street into a business and subtly pulling out what appeared to be a knife.
He approached the victim, who was standing just inside the doorway, and stabbed him in the stomach.
The man pulled out his knife as he began to approach the eventual victim. LAPDThe suspect fled immediately, leaving the victim clutching his abdomen inside the store.
It is unclear if the victim worked at the business or was a customer.
The victim was treated in hospital and released, police say.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male between 30 and 35 years old.
Police are still hunting for the attacker. LAPDHe has medium-length black hair and was last seen wearing a blue button-up long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and hiking boots.
