A man wreaked havoc on a California 7-Eleven when he was denied a late-night brew, knocking over fruit and smashing windows during a wild fit, surveillance video shows.

The footage, released by the Santa Ana Police Department, shows the suspect walk into the store in Santa Ana on Aug. 25 at about 2:36 a.m. with money in hand, NBC reported.

When the store employee, citing a state law which bans the sale of alcohol between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m., turned the man down, he began vandalizing the store, footage shows.

The irate man can be seen in the surveillance video knocking over items, including several bushels of bananas, and then smashing the front windows.

Police say the suspect, who has still not been caught, assaulted the clerk and caused about $2,000 worth of damage.
