Former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort is reportedly being investigated for money laundering in addition to the probes surrounding the Trump team’s alleged ties to Russia.
Manafort is being probed by the US attorney for the Southern District of New York in collaboration with a probe by special counsel Robert Mueller,

The Journal report surfaced days after it was revealed that Trump had personally interviewed possible candidates to lead the US attorney offices in both Manhattan and Brooklyn.
In addition to the federal money laundering probe and Mueller’s special counsel probe, Manafort is also being looked at by New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s office for potential money laundering as well.
Manafort has denied any wrongdoing.
