MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — State police said four people are dead in three shootings in north-central West Virginia.

State police spokesman Lt. Michael Baylous said two of the shootings happened in the Westover area and the other occurred in the Cheat Lake area in Monongalia County. All three shootings occurred Monday.

Baylous identified the two victims in the Cheat Lake shooting as 39-year-old Sharon Kay Berkshire of Westover and 28-year-old David Frum of Maidsville.

911 director Mike Wolfe said police are searching for Jody Hunt in the case.
