Two illegal migrants have been charged with raping children in Massachusetts, according to authorities — who also detained a convicted child rapist who fled Brazil to avoid prison time, just to be released at the US border while crossing illegally.

One of the migrants, a 21-year-old Guatemalan national, had been arrested on a slew of rape charges but was later cut loose by local authorities who “ignored” a federal request to detain him, officials said Wednesday.

The suspect in that case, Mynor Stiven De Paz-Munoz, had been in the US since he illegally crossed the border near Eagle Pass, Texas in September 2020.

He was released from custody at the border after being served with a notice to appear before an immigration judge at a later date, officials said.

De Paz-Munoz then popped back up on the radar of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) when he was arrested and charged with rape on Feb. 29 in Great Barrington in western Massachusetts, according to the feds.

ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations in Boston said it lodged an immigration detainer with local cops to take custody of him in light of his alleged crimes – but it was “ignored” and he was released on bail.

Federal agents were only able to take him into custody on Nov. 13, officials said.

“Mynor Stiven De Paz-Munoz stands accused of horrifically victimizing a Massachusetts child and represents a significant threat to our neighborhoods,” said acting ERO Boston Field Office Director Patricia Hyde.

Meanwhile, the second alleged perp — Billy Erney Buitrago-Bustos, 42, of Colombia — was arrested by Great Barrington cops on Oct. 8 last year on a slew of charges, including raping a child by force, statutory rape and aggravated rape.

Buitrago-Gusto had been admitted into the US at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport in May 2016, but failed to then leave under his visa requirements.

After his arrest on rape charges, the feds lodged a detainer for him, too.

The Berkshire County Jail released him into ICE’s custody on Nov. 15 after he posted bail, officials said.

The third migrant, Alexandre Romao De Oliveira, is a fugitive convicted of raping a child in Brazil, according to the feds.

De Oliveira, 41, managed to flee Brazil in 2022 before he could start serving his 14-year prison stint.

Despite his conviction, he illegally crossed the US border near Santa Teresa, New Mexico, in April that year and was released after being served with a notice to appear before an immigration judge.

He was nabbed by ICE in the northern Massachusetts city of Methuen on Monday, officials said.

“Alexandre Romao De Oliveira is a convicted child rapist who fled his home country to evade justice,” Hyde said.

“Enhancing public safety starts with cooperation between law enforcement partners. Bringing this fugitive to justice is a direct result of the collaboration between ERO Boston, the ICE attaché offices around the globe, and our foreign law enforcement counterparts.”
