A package with the word “anthrax” scrawled across it reportedly prompted the evacuation of Congresswoman Maxine Waters’ office.

TMZ reported that a hazmat scene responded to the Los Angeles office amid a number of threats against Waters in recent weeks.

The package was rendered to be safe and authorities were trying to determine where it came from, the LAPD told The Post.

A militant group called the Oathkeepers have said they planned to demonstrate at the office recently, but backed out due to concerns of violence.

A spokesperson for Waters did not immediately return a request for comment.
