McCain: Act on Syria
The Obama administration doesn’t need to be sure that Syria’s Bashar al-Assad has used chemical weapons against his own people before establishing a no-fly zone and arming rebels, Sen. John McCain said yesterday.
Atrocities already committed by Assad are enough to warrant US action in hope of containing a conflict that is spilling over into other Mideast countries, McCain (R-Ariz.) told NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
