“Cocaine Mitch” has a line on a new revenue stream.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s re-election campaign is slinging T-shirts that play on the Kentucky Republican’s druggy moniker.
“A year ago, a legend was born,” the campaign tweeted Wednesday, referring to failed West Virginia Senate candidate Don Blankenship’s team blasting McConnell as “Cocaine Mitch” because blow was once found aboard a freighter owned by his shipping magnate father-in-law.

“Become an official member of the Cartel!” the campaign added in another tweet— displaying the back of the shirt, which reads “Cartel Member.”
The merch is just the latest way McConnell has embraced Blankenship’s blow — he tweeted an image of himself Photoshopped into an ad for Netflix’s Colombian cartel show “Narcos,” taunting, “Thanks for playing, Don” after Blankenship lost his GOP Senate race.
