Melania Trump addressed the mystery surrounding a jacket she wore in June while boarding Air Force One to visit children separated from their parents at the border.

The jacket — which read “I really don’t care do u?” — was intended to be for the “left-wing media who are criticizing me,” the first lady said during an interview with ABC News that aired Friday night.

“I want to show them that I don’t care,” she told the network. “You could criticize whatever you want to say, but it will not stop me to do what I feel is right.”

Back in June the first lady’s director of communications said, “It’s a jacket, there was no hidden message.”

Addressing the former administration policy to separate the children, Melania said it was “unacceptable for me to see children and parents separated” at the border.

Melania said she let her husband know and “he agreed.”
