One person is dead after a fire tore through a Brooklyn building this morning, an FDNY spokesman said.
The blaze broke out on the second floor of 41 Sheffield Ave. in East New York around 5 a.m.
It took firefighters an hour and 15 minutes to put it out.
The age and sex of the deceased individual were not immediately known. There were no other injuries reported.
