The theater-directors union yesterday settled claims brought by producers of “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark,” who said they were illegally forced into arbitration after firing original director Julie Taymor.

A statement from the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society said the agreement guarantees Taymor “full royalties” for the entire run of the Broadway musical. That’s worth about $10,000 a week.

The deal doesn’t affect the venomous litigation over Taymor’s firing following the problem-plagued previews of “Spider-Man.”

But sources told The Post that case could be settled as early as next week.

Taymor sued for more than $1 million last year, claiming producers used key elements of her version of Spidey saga after she was fired last March.

In a stinging countersuit, the producers said Taymor nearly scuttled the show by refusing to make it “family friendly.”
