Police sources say a man ignored that commandment on Friday — and stole a $10,000 gold cross from a Bronx church.
The unidentified suspect walked into St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church in Woodlawn Heights at around 8 a.m. and brazenly took the 16 inch gold crucifix, according to the sources.
The thief swiped the golden cross at approximately 8 a.m., sources say. Stephen YangThere were no witnesses to the crime or clear security images of the sinner, the sources said.
The NYPD is investigating.
