Naomie AmbroiseAn 11-year-old girl went missing after she left her family’s Brooklyn home for school Wednesday morning, police said.
Naomie Ambroise left the Sterling Street home and walked to the subway station on nearby Nostrand Avenue about 7 a.m. She boarded a southbound No.2 train in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, police said. But officials said she never made it to school.
She attends P.S. 269 on Nostrand and Foster avenues in Flatbush, which is about a 25-minute ride.
The disappearance was officially reported to police at 10 p.m. Wednesday.
She is described as being 5 feet tall, about 90 pounds, and was last seen wearing a pair of green camouflage pants with a yellow long-sleeved shirt. She had on pink sneakers and a black backpack.
