A child is fighting for his life after getting hit by a car today on the Upper East Side, cops said.

The 12-year-old was out for a ride on the FDR service road near E. 78th Street when he made a turn against traffic, sources said.

The car hit him head on around 1:40 p.m. The child was rushed to New York Hospital. The driver of the car remained on scene and police said that there is no criminality suspected.
