A 13-year-old Bronx boy killed his pooch Friday and then locked his mom up in a room, according to police.

The emotionally disturbed boy used a sharp object to stab the dog and torment his family, according to officials. The teen’s mom called the police for help around 2 p.m., after he would not let her leave the room.

The boy was eventually taken into custody.
