A 13-year-old girl was in Times Square with her father when a man groped the child and then punched her dad, police said Thursday.
The teen was standing on West 43rd Street near 7th Avenue when an unknown man grabbed her buttocks just before 7:30 p.m. Aug. 7, police said.
The NYPD is looking for this man, who is accused of groping a 13-year-old girl in Times Square and punching her father in the face. NYPDThe child’s 55-year-old father attempted to confront the groper, who then socked the parent in the face.
The father suffered a cut and was treated at the scene.

The groping incident took place on Aug. 7 in Times Square. Christopher SadowskiPolice on Thursday released photos of the wanted suspect, who was last seen at a subway station wearing a dark blue T-shirt with a Boston Red Sox logo on the front.
So far, the suspect has not been identified and no arrests have been made.
