A 13-year-old boy is in stable condition after being shot in the groin in a Brooklyn park.

Police say the boy was shot at about 7:30 p.m. Friday in Canarsie Park, often referred to as Seaview Park.

Police say the boy was taken to Brookdale University Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.

Police say there is no one in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
